Did you have a good Thanksgiving? Ours was very nice, this was our first year with baby Charlotte who slept through the event until it was time for pie. (Does this baby know what's important at Thanksgiving, or what??!) She ate, had a diaper change, then we passed her around so everyone got to hold her, and then she went back to slept - she's got a pretty limited repertoire at one month of age!
I wanted to thank everyone who came out to see us for Black Friday and Small Business Saturday last weekend -- MANY THANKS! We know you have many places to spend your dollars and always appreciate it when you spend some with us!
For those of you who don't live close to us, I took a couple of pictures at the West Center store yesterday. These two pics are at the front of the shop as you walk in the door ...

And this is our class wall with some of our class offerings ....

We put "Hampton Ridge" on the bed yesterday and I think it looks great there - it really seems to show off the individual blocks when it's on the bed.

Pretty, huh?? The quilt features forty one, 5" sampler blocks, that when framed finish at 7 1/2" - can you see how that works from the picture... neat, huh? The quilt is good size too- 88" x 88".

AND, we still have openings for this wonderful block of the month! For those of you that may be interested, I've listed all the "needful" information below. To the rest of you --- have a wonderful weekend and be sure and make a little time for stitching! We're suppose to have 4" of snow starting early, early Sunday morning so it'll be interesting to see what Sunday brings. If we the roads are good, we'll be open, if not... we'll be home quilting, too!

Information for Hamption Ridge BOM ...
This is a 12 month block of the month that began in October. We have handed out month one and two, but there's lots of time to catch up! We have the kits available on the 30th of each month. For most months you'll be making four, occasionally five blocks - pretty easy huh? During the twelve month program, you'll receive all the patterns, the various Star Single triangle paper that make half square triangles a snap, and all the fabrics needed to complete the quilt including the borders and binding. And that's a lot of fabric, Edith, - 'cause there's over 20 yards of fabric in this big boy!
Cost is $24.95 per month, with a $24.95 registration fee that will be credited back to you on your last month. As always, we can ship to our out of town friends with a shipping fee of just $4.95 per month.
Give us a call at 402-333-6131 if your interested and we'll get you signed up today and get your first two kits out to you ASAP. Questions?? Give us a call, we'll do our best to answer those too!
