It's in the end of June! I feel like I've only got half the things done that I wanted to have done by this time!
The week before this one, I was in Phoenix. Man, is it hot there. The temperature every day was 108 degrees. My husband keep telling me the heat was all in my head, and to "quit thinking about the number"; and people tell you it's a "dry heat" ... but, hot IS HOT!! I honestly don't think I could live there.
So, of course, last week I had to play "catch up" at work. Isn't that always the way? You leave for a few days and it takes five days to get back up to speed!
One of the reason is that we're working hard on our annual Christmas In July. You remember this guy, don't you??
(I swear to Golly, when I put that graphic together the writing was bigger and the box around him was smaller. I am sooo bad at this computer thing! Big sigh.) Anyway...
We're all busy picking out models to make, selecting fabrics, sewing up a storm, cutting and packaging kits, ordering patterns ... and just doing all the things that need to be done before the big event. We've got TONS of fabulous Christmas fabric this year! It's sooo beautiful and it's all so different from one another, I think you'll find something you're gonna love.
Oh, and by the by, there is no summer newsletter this year. Nope. I'm on holiday, as the Brits say. I've done the newsletter for around 20 years, three times a year, and this summer I just didn't get it all done. I will have hard copies of the classes for both stores in the shops very soon. Until then, you can find our list of classes at our website, under the "Classes" button or click here to go directly to the web page. Be patient, it takes a little time to load.
