We've been getting a lot of new fabric in the shops, so if you haven't been in lately -- you've been missing a lot of great stuff!
A huge line from Moda (and Minick and Simpson), called Independence Day, arrived last Wednesday at both stores...
We had to do a lot of moving around just to fit everything in ....
Isn't it beautiful??! Can't you just imagine a lovely star quilt from this fabric?
And at the West Center store, we've finally got Mama Said Sew - I've been waiting for these beauties for along time!!
Isn't it fun? Now the question is --- what to make from it?? Any suggestions??
It's not that I don't like the Sweetwater patterns for the line, it's just that they don't seem to show off much of the line in just one quilt. Here's there booth at market...
See what I mean?? If anybody's got a great idea for a pattern to use with this line .... drop me a little email ... I think my brain has gone to mush!
Oh, and I don't want to forget Little Black Dress by Basic Gray - at the West Center Store. Jane stitched up a fabulous quilt for us from this line, but of course... I didn't get a picture of it!
As all this fabric comes in, I keep mumbling "My husband is going to kill me!".... Sound familiar??? I guess a lot of quilters have this problem, huh?!
