Ann and I just got back from Houston Quilt Market last night. I'm pretty sure she went into work today. Tuesday is my usual day off, so I decided to take advantage of a free day. I'm very proud of all that I got done. I unpacked my bags, did a load of wash, sacked up all my goodies that I collected from Quilt Market and put them in the car, read all my emails, checked my blog in Google Reader, loaded all my pictures from market onto my lap top - both from my I Phone and my camera... and... here's the big one...I even made my bed today! Whoa.. I was like a house afire.
What I haven't done is edit any of my market pictures, so I'm not ready to post the market stuff yet. My photography skills are minimal and without a little computer enhancing, their down right pitiful. Soon, though.
Instead I thought I'd share a weird and mysterious Halloween story that happened at my very own house. When I got home from Houston late Halloween Eve I found this on the hallway table ....
Big deal, you say, it's Halloween candy for the trick or treaters. Here's how the story unfolded...
Me: Why did you buy Halloween candy??
Him: For the trick or treaters, of course.
Me: Ed, we've NEVER had even one trick or treater since we moved into this house. You do remember that we live in a gated community, we're probably the youngest people in this development, not to mention the fact that they lock the gates at 6:00 on Halloween, so the kids couldn't get in - if they wanted to.
Him: Well, I though maybe one or two would get through.
Me: So you bought three bags??
Him: I wanted to be prepared.
What's the mystery?? After 34 years of marriage, did he really think I would believe that a huge bowl of his favorite candy was for our nonexistent trick or treaters??? Got to love those husbands, huh?
Hope your Halloween was a good one!

I'm with Ed on the candy - one can never have too much (*_+)
