I've got several photos of new quilts and projects from the Papillion store... just to tempt ya a liddle bit! (We always tell people that there are different models and ideas at each store so they should visit both when they're fabric shopping.)
This first quilt is amazing, my photography doesn't do it justice. Debbi Elliott and Ann Lage collaborated on it (Debbi did the embroidery, Ann did the piecing) and it's... it's .... beyond words! Think how cool this would look hanging in your family room or great room!
Sissie made this darling door banner from the book, Tidings, by Art to Heart. AND.. we've got these great BIG red buttons that you use for the holly berries. (If you look really closely ya can see we've pinned them on... that's what happens when the buttons arrive at the very last minute!) We've got it all kitted up in these cute little red bags... see 'em in the bottom left hand corner??
Below is another embroidery, also done as a collaboration - this time between Sandy and Suzanne. Isn't this little flying snow angel sweet?
The Christmas Sampler was another beauty made by Sissie and from the Tidings book. It was very popular on Saturday! It's got a darling button kit that really finishes it off perfectly!
A little more embroidery for Christmas!
I took a couple of Halloween photos. I don't know why I stuck them right in the middle of a bunch of Christmas photos, but I did... oh well.... they're cute! See the pillowcase on the right side of the photo, hanging from the shelf?? That's GLOW IN THE DARK fabric!!! Isn't it cool??! Both stores have three different Halloweeen fabrics that glow in the dark and they're so perfect for pillow cases or goodies bags for little trick or treaters.
Isn't this little table runner wonderful? Jodi made it for us.... AND she also baked some goodies for Christmas in July from the two new Gooseberry books for the holidays. (I should have taken a picture, but the books are in the shops now.) I don't know what those little cookies with the pecan on top were called, but I ate at least five - just to make sure they were up to your standards... they were.
Ann made this Christmas wall warmer/table topper for us, called "Packaged Cheer". The photo's kinda dark, it's up high at the shop, but it's fabulous in Kansas Trouble fabric.
Carol and Sandy made these top two cuties for us... did I mention we have kits??
Lastly, the gals made up tons of holiday pillowcases using our free pillow case pattern and some great holiday fabric. These make up quick and are great for kids of all ages. Heck, I bet even dad and grandpa would like a fun pillow case for the season! And, yup, those are kits are the bottom. (I just had to throw that in!)
How'd you like our little "show and share" for Christmas in July? The gals at both shops are really amazing quilters and stitchers, aren't they? There isn't a that goes by that I don't appreciate their talents and creativity. We're ALL lucky to have them!
