Okay, this is the last of the market pictures. I REALLY need to move on....
This was the Kansas City Star's booth. The quilt on the far right (and on the bed) is from the book "Country Inn" by the Blackbird gals, isn't it great? You REALLY should learn to applique, Edith! These are nice big applique pieces too, so you don't have to mess with those stinking little pieces when you're learning the basics.
Here's the book... and of course it's in the shops now!
This display was on the back wall of the Atkinson Design's booth... new patterns... got 'em, love 'em!
Jo has already made a model of the Cash and Carry pattern for us and is working on the other two - so cool!
Oh, and I just had to show you this picture of the Michael Miller booth. Having set up a few vendor booths myself, I was amazed by all these HUGE flocked trees in their booth. How did they get those in the convention center??, did they flock them before or after they moved them in??, how did they get them to stand up like that??.....
Jo Morton's booth... a little fuzzy... sorry....
We've got her new book in the shops now too...
Doesn't it look great? That's because it is!
We just keep expanding our Jo Morton fabric area in the shops. She has some of the very BEST colors and designs and we LOVE them all.
And here's Nancy Halverson's (of Art to Heart fame) booth featuring here in new fabric line and book. The new book is due out this month and I'll let ya know when we get it. I can't wait! Nancy's designs are timeless and many of the designs work with any fabric line. We keep ALL of her books in stock, so if you haven't looked through them lately, you need to stop in and browse the Art to Heart section.
We've already been shipped the new fabric, but we're holding it back for Christmas in July. You can bet we'll have lots of new models from her book and fabric for the big Saturday holiday preview, July 17th!
So, that's it! Here's a pic of my car loaded up and ready to head home. The big bright tubs were from a very successful trip to Home Goods. Aren't they fun??
Yup, it was a great trip.... Ikea, Home Goods, a mini quilt shop hop, AND Quilt Market! Life just couldn't get any better...

I was kinda late getting in my comment from the previous Market Post, and haven't heard back - so I will ask again. I love the quilt "think blossoms" - love the fabrics, etc. and want to make it so bad. Will you have the pattern and fabrics be in the shop too ?? Thanks.

Ginny,
I have ordered the pattern, but Im not getting the fabric. I think its from the Bliss fabric line. Although I really liked the fabric in that quilt, I decided I couldnt sell enough of it to make the buy. It does take a layer cake though, and I think the pattern could look good in many fabrics.
